Twice-annual Quality Forums

Twice a year, radiologists, practice executives, and employees dedicated to quality-improvement gather to attend twice-annual Quality Forums. SR member practices may send an unlimited number of people, and many new members have used the forums to train their first quality officers.

Strategic Radiology operates the first PATIENT SAFETY ORGANIZATION listed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) that is dedicated solely to the improvement of medical imaging through the sharing of protected data and best practices. Our PSO provides:

  • A safe environment for sharing data and experiences for the purpose of quality improvement
  • Federal protections that render PSO data and conversations undiscoverable in court
  • Safe Table discussions focused on specific quality challenges
  • Tools and resources for program development and root cause analysis

Strategic Radiology member groups endowed an $800,000 RSNA R&E Seed Grant in 2020, setting in motion a series of annual research seed grants awarded by the RSNA's Research & Education Foundation over 20 years to fund radiology research and advance the specialty.
