Southeast Radiology, Ltd., Upland, PA
On the forefront of modern radiology since the 1920s

Southeast Radiology has deep roots in both Pennsylvania’s Delaware County and radiology itself as one of the oldest continuing practices in the United States.
The practice was begun shortly after WWI by Abraham Sharpe, MD, who founded Sharpe Associates, which became Southeast Radiology, Ltd. in 1983. Since its inception, Southeast Radiology has been committed to staying on the forefront of modern-day radiology, maintaining up-to-date training on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Southeast Radiology’s physicians are all board-certified radiologists and many have obtained added certification or specialty training in subspecialty radiology, including women’s imaging and mammography, body imaging, vascular imaging, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, interventional radiology/angiography, and musculoskeletal imaging. Southeast radiologists serve in leadership positions with their hospital partners as well as in local and national radiological societies.
The practice provides community-based radiology services and subspecialty imaging interpretations in several convenient outpatient locations. It also operates an outpatient vein center that provides comprehensive treatment options for the management of venous insufficiency, staffed by the practice’s division of interventional radiology and endovascular subspecialists.
