Rome Radiology Group provides comprehensive diagnostic radiological services to three hospitals and five outpatient centers in Floyd County, Ga., located in Northwest Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Founded in 1970, Rome is the only radiological group in Floyd County’s largest metropolitan area.
All fourteen radiologists are board-certified, and the practice provides a high level of subspecialty imaging, including body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, vascular interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine, including PET imaging. Rome Radiology Group’s physicians bring a level of diagnostic expertise and subspecialization that is rare for the size of the patient population served by this radiology practice.
In recent years, Rome Radiology Group installed a state-of-the-art image management system that provides convenient access to medical images and reports for referring physicians and all partner hospitals and imaging centers.
Rome Radiology Group was Strategic Radiology’s first Affiliate Program practice, a program initiated to provide a membership path for smaller, excellent radiology practices.
